How to feature posts?
Put all posts you would like to feature in a certain category and select that category as featured in “SleekPro Options” page in wp-admin
How to show image in featured posts?
Create a custom field called “image_930_312″ and post a link to 940×312 image in its value
How to show Gallery?
Upload and activate NexGen gallery plugin. Create a gallery, upload images to it and select it in theme options page.
How to show popular posts in sidebar?
Upload and activate WP postviews plugin.
How to show polls in sidebar?
Upload and activate WP polls plugin.
How to show Videos in sidebar?
Create a separate category for videos. Assign this category as videos in SleekPro options page.
Create a custom field called “video_254_194″ and enter the link to flv video as its value for each post.
How to show image in recent posts?
Create a custom field called “image_147_100″ and post a link to 147×100 image in its value

I have a problem with getting the image on the header to show. How do i do this? in which directory do i create the custom fuekd called “image_930_312″?

Hello Guys:
I figured how to change the image in your template. Once you upload it in your server and is activate, go to templates/images then there is going to be a folder called something like image_930_312. Thats where the image on the main header is linked. You can either upload the image/logo you want there. Or change it from the main template.
Now, to change the image, got wordpress/editor/header. Open in there to edit the template. Scroll down until you find this:
$bg = get_bloginfo(‘template_url’).’/images/image_930_312/8.jpg’;
You can do ctr+F and type there your query, it will take you there straight away. Where it says 8.jpg is my image. You should replace that with your image, or if you have put it on a different folder, you will have to change the path.
I wanted to rotate the image in the header, but I still haven’t figured, although I’ve tried as well with different plugins.
If I can help you with anything else, please visit my site and ask me. Am using this template, so it can give you an idea of how it works.

I uploaded and activated the theme, but I have absolutely no idea how to put the image on top. I looked for the folder image_930_312 but there is none. I created one myself under themes\SleekPro\images and put the image there. Then I went to the editor/header like you said, but the only reference to image_930_312 that I find in the code is this:
$bg = obwp_getcustomfield(‘image_930_312′, get_the_ID());
if( empty($bg) )
$bg = get_bloginfo(‘template_url’).’/images/pic_no_image.gif’; $carousel_title = the_title(”,”,false);
If I change the pic_no_image.gif picture to my own, it doesn’t work. But then I’m not an IT adept

I found out how to add the pictures!
However, the pages still do not appear like they should. It works though, although with a shortcut: I had the CSS changed to have them appear …
The skin is really very very nice!!
You need to create a menu in dashboard.
Dashboard->Appearence->menus

Was wondering if you could tell me how to display pages the same way its shown in the image above from the template. I added 1 page (about) but it shows on the main header on top of the image, in black, very small and you have to selected to even see it. How do go on about changing this?

Is it possible to prevent the carousel at the top, from cycling through? In other words, can I make the image not rotate through the posts?

Hi Admin,
The publish date in my post is displaying incorrectly. I have been told this is a problem with the theme.
I have checked all time and date settings in WordPress… All of my posts show as published in 2008.
Can you please tell me how to fix this.
First, very nice template design. Thank you. Second, I’m a former Blogger user … and let’s just say the learning curve was far less severe. I’m really struggling on the WP platform.
As it stands, the image is not visible on my page. I uploaded I photo but still am unclear on how to get this to show. The create a field and link text might as well be a foreign language. I had no create a field option and it took half a day to find that. Ugh.
I’m resisting the urge to tear it all down and go back to Blogger and just be done with all of this.
Would you be so kind and patiently walk me through getting header images to show?

To get the header images to show:
Go into WordPress, then Under Post, Under Custom Fields, Click Add Custom Fields, Select the 930 one, then in the Value section, enter in the URL of the image that you uploaded into the gallery.

I’m not finding this Custom Fields option anywhere. I’m on my WP Admin page, clicked Posts, but there’s no place to add custom fields.
Sydney, its hidden by default… open your post or page and on very top is SCREEN OPTIONS… click it, and there you find diffferent content to show… you must click the box CUSTOM FIELDS then this opens a small box near bottom of your page/post where you can add the custom fields… add each one there then they should remain so you just choose them in future
I’m interested in switching to this theme. It looks like it offers lots of what we’re looking for & ability to do all uploading myself w/o use extra costs of hiring developer. One question – what if we don’t have video to include? Can we opt to NOT include video in layout??
Hi, how can I do to having longer posts in the homepage?
I installed this and LOVE the layout but I have two problems with it.
1) I can’t seem to have the header image rotate
I changed the header file to my image but it’s sliding the same image over and over.
2) on the post feed on the front page the post section post twice.
I want the banner to rotate just like the sample page

Is there a way to fix the date problem? All of the entries are dated a date in 2008. I’m sure it is only a simple matter of adding or deleting some coding, but I am not sure where to start.
